Timeless Summer Wedding in Tuscany: Real Wedding — Nicole + Randy

FEATURED WEDDING DRESS DESIGNER

Ines Di Santo

Nicole and Randy are each other’s first and only love. They’ve been together for 13 years and have had the incredible experience of growing up and living life together. When it came time for their timeless Tuscan dream wedding, they focused on the things and people that have made their love so special. An iconic and intimate celebration, their Tuscany destination wedding was idyllic. Taking place in an ancient medieval village in Italy, let’s explore more moments from their beautiful wedding at Borgo Di Pietrafitta.

AIR BY INES DI SANTO DRESS

At the heart of this luxury wedding in Tuscany, Italy, Ines Di Santo’s ‘Air’ gown shines. #AnnaBeBride Nicole’s elevated ethereal wedding dress complimented the gorgeous grounds of their romantic Borgo Di Pietrafitta wedding venue and the florals found throughout their decor.

With an illusion high neckline, this long sleeve a-line wedding dress was effortlessly elegant. The sheer mesh sleeves had a delicate floral lace appliqué design and the organic lacework continued down the bodice trickling into the soft layered tulle skirt. With a low illusion scoop back and covered buttons adorning the back of this lace and tulle wedding dress, Nicole looked radiant as she made her way to a private garden for outdoor first look photos.

She surprised both Randy and her bridesmaids as she walked toward them showcasing her wedding dress. During her first look with her bridesmaids, her best friends were obviously emotional. Clapping their hands and covering their faces, their first look reactions and unwavering friendship was captured so candidly.

TUSCAN HILLSIDE WEDDING CEREMONY

Nicole and Randy’s sophisticated wedding ceremony took place on a hillside overlook with beautiful views of rolling mountains and a majestic sky. Keeping their wedding ceremony decor simple, the couple chose rustic cushioned chiavari chairs to line the aisle and floating floral arbors to amplify their already gorgeous altar setting.

A low wooden fence and greenery marked the edge of the overlook and added an elegant rustic touch to their outdoor Italian countryside wedding ceremony. Nicole and Randy wed among their closest family and friends and walked back down the aisle in absolute bliss. Stopping at the end of the aisle to share a kiss and enjoy their rose petal wedding toss, their June wedding celebrations were just getting started.

AL FRESCO FAMILY-STYLE DINNER

Their al fresco wedding dinner was set up beside romantic stone exterior archways. Exuding rustic elegance, their quaint courtyard wedding dinner was full of natural wood finishes. With wooden cross-back chairs lining a long farm table and bistro lights hanging above, this vintage rustic wedding tablescape offered a cozy reception dining experience.

Clear glass bud vases were scattered across the center of the table as well as brass candlestick holders. White taper candles added a clean finishing touch to the otherwise earthy details. While ivy greenery in the background and bottles of wine poured throughout the night, this small summer wedding dinner oozed luxury.

MILLEFOGLIE WEDDING CAKE

Instead of cutting a wedding cake, Nicole and Randy decided to incorporate Italian cuisine into their creative wedding dessert. Both holding bags of custard, Nicole and Randy prepared their traditional Italian wedding cake, Millefoglie. Coincidentally, Millefoglie can be translated to mean ‘a thousand leaves’, which is exactly what Nicole’s wedding gown looked like.

With their private chef close by, Nicole and Randy added dollops of cream to the flakey pastry dough in front of their guests. Their Millefoglie wedding cake was a hit and a fun twist on your typical wedding cake photos.

POOL WEDDING PHOTOS

After an evening full of food and drinks, it was time to hit the dance floor. While guests got started, Nicole and Randy snuck away to grab a sunset wedding photo at the corner of the pool. Later that evening, the wedding party even jumped into the pool.

Full of romance and thoughtful wedding details, the love Nicole and Randy share was on full display during their special day.
